We have just booked but after advice as to which activities to book in for as there are so many! Quite an age range as we have 4 aged 15 to 2. We are not looking for one size fits all everyone is going to pick what they want to do but if anyone did anything they really enjoyed would love to hear about it thanks.

go swimming at least once a day

take bikes for the older ones and let them roam a bit

otherwise do stuff you dont / can't do at home - my 2yo loved toddler yoga

We did the each person picks something. Dh bad a massage, I chose archery, dd1 did the high wire activity course and dd2 had a pony ride. Joint activities were the pool, bowling, tennis - not a success as I am rubbish at it-, mini golf. We did bike rides together. Dds job each morning was to cycle to the bakery for bread etc. I think they were 11 and 8 at the time.

What do you like the look of from their website, slipper?

The minimum is pool and bikes, and that is plenty for some children.

We did the same as MissAnneElk. Came as a group of 4 adults w. 2 children, roughly the same age (18m-2yrs). We found we didn't need to book much as the great outdoors, the park areas and the bikes were plenty for our 4 day stay. We did book a messy play session, a horse and carriage ride and also had 2 x soft play sessions (these latter are in sports centre - you just pay and go, no need to prebook) which went down well.

We went last weekend and have 2 dcs aged 8 and 10 almost. We all cycled, swam and played badminton. DH and dcs played crazy golf and did roller skating, both of which we booked on the day. Dcs went into two activity sessions which we booked before arriving and dh and I went to the spa (bliss). There is just so much to do. Enjoy yourselves.

Oh yes going to do bikes/swimming it was more the activities I was thinking of. Did anyone try any of the animal activities?

Just got back, and my dd1 who is nearly 10 loved the cable skiing. It was very different to anything that she had done before, and she loved it so much that she did it twice. Children have to be 8 and able to swim 50m confidently. They all fall into the water, and do have life jackets, but often have quite a long swim back. There is a speed boat that picks them up if they are right at the other end of the lake.
