Is Centre Parcs best place for Nov break??

Midweek in Nov so not school holiday prices...wanted a few days away with kids (1 & 3) and my parents...obviously need plenty to do indoors - was thinking C Parcs best option or Ribby Hall and do illuminations too?
Anyone got any thoughts or better suggestions.
Given the choice would go to Canaries but DH won't have any of it...

We are thinking of centre parcs but it is expensive isn't it. Have you seen the tree houses!!? We have stayed at Ribby Hall many times and that is significantly cheaper but there are not as many activities but at 1 and 3 you don't need many activities I suppose and the pool at Ribby is prob more than enough for them. Where you looking around the north west in particular?

Hi Slipperandpjsmum
Just want up North really - not terribly bothered where.
I was looking at 4 night midweek breaks and was concerned for 4 wet days Ribby Hall didn't have enough to do....

Have always been against Centre Parcs on principle (not sure why) - but maybe it offers the best facilities for a winter break?? Did seem more expensive than Ribby but maybe thats because there's more on offer - but a lot of that you have to pay for....

Crieff Hydro looks utterly fab but a long drive and pretty expensive - looks worth it though...

We are going to CP in November mid week and works out about £300 for 2 adults and 2 children for 4nights. Perfect for us,

We're going to a hotel called Elmer's Court in the New Forest first week in November for 4 nights, we're paying £460 for the 3 of us, but that is dinner, bed and breakfast. There is a pool, sauna etc that is all included, and games rooms and so on for older kids.
We like it because it's only an hour's drive from home and there is lots to do nearby, indoors and outdoors.

Whenever we price up Centre Parcs we always think it's really expensive considering that you have to add food on top.
