Hi has anyone stayed in the comfort accomodation at center parcs sherwood forest? I stayed in a new woodland logde at whinfell in january which was fab but now have a dog so have had to book the dog accomodation. I am worried it might be a bit basic I have read a few reviews online & don,t know what to do any feed back would be great thanks

Comfort is fine. You still get a dishwasher and a tv etc. Look on their website to see what you get for that, it's listed out pretty comprehensively.

Plus I'm pretty sure you can pay extra for maid service and towels even in comfort. Might be worth checking if you don't want to stack the dishwasher, make bed and pick up towels...

Oh sorry, looks like you may not get a dishwasher in Sherwood. Hmm

I don,t know wether to upgrade to comfort plus but there is a £35 administration fee on top of the extra cost which i think is ridiculous at the prices they charge. I,ve booked for feb 11 so have saved quite a bit. But would rather put the money towards activities when i get there. Thanks for the reply anybody else had anyone else experienced comfort.

We always go comfort - we are hardly in the chalet at all so I don't see the point in spending more.

Depends how you are going to use it.

If you are planning on eating out all the time and doing stuff then it doesn't matter what you have in the accommodation. If you want to save money and eat all your meals at the lodge, then I wouldn't want to spend all my time doing washing up, pans and all for a whole family. I do all that shit in the week.

It's a hard decision when for a lot of weeks, the better accommodation doesn't cost any more and you are already paying a doggy surcharge.

How many are there of you going? If there's only a couple of you then washing up isn't so bad. If you've got 8 or something then I would sy upgrade to the dishwasher.

Bear in mind you only get one set of everything. So if it's a 2 bed villa you get 4 plates, 4 glasses etc. So you end up putting the dishwasher on after evry meal or washing up anyway.

But you do send so little time in the villa that I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless you have like 6 or more of you going...

There are 3 of us going so the washing up won,t be so bad i suppose I,m used to the dishwasher at home but it won,t kill me for 4 days to wash up! Hope to eat out most nights what are the restraunts like there I know the ones at whinfell were very reasonbly priced thanks again for all the replys.
