Small Batteries that cost a £1 EACH at ELC - where can I get cheaper ones?

Title says it all.

We have loads of books and toys that use these batteries that need replacing. But a £1 each (and most take 3) makes replacing uneconomic.

Any ideas?

First you need to know the proper size - it will say on them somewhere. Then search online. I got a great deal on ebay recently on button batteries for my scales - I seem to get through them at a rate of knots (CR2032 20 for £2.49 delivered) this seller

I've bought them in the Pound shop before, but that was false economy.

if it is AA or AAA Semi Chem usually have a great deal on Duracell Superdrug too and Tesco at times sorry kept thinking of more

ChilloHippi · 08/10/2009 17:54

I gat Duracell AA and AAA in the pound shop, but I assumed the OP meant button batteries. I do try to use rechargable, but I never seem to have enough

I get mine at my local market. £1 per pack of 6 (duracell I think).

this site very good for all sorts of batteries, quick despatch and cheap postage.

I get these rechargable ones but not sure if those are the sort you mean?
