Difference in costs...

Totally random but I've scoured the internet for answers but to no avail.

Anyway.... I'm going to buy my daughter a Frozen scooter for Christmas, originally from Very but I've now noticed both Smyths and Halfords are selling the same scooter for £10 cheaper.

I've tried reading the differences (and there doesn't seem to be any) so.... why is Very more expensive? Just so I know I'm buying the correct thing for her.

Thanks!

Um why does Aldi sell bread cheaper than Tesco?! Or Harrods things more expensive than Debenhams. It’s the target audience, and they know thier customers will pay more so a company will charge what they can get away with.

Different audiences. Very relies on people using credit, these people normally don’t have the cash upfront to spend on something so Very knows they will pay more because they can spread the repayments out over a period of time.
Smyths etc rely on people having all the money there and then.

Thanks for the second paragraph! Will definitely be taking a trip to Smyths then 🧡
