Can't put a review on the Argos website, so I thought I'd post it here: Fisher-Price Cruise and Groove Ballapalooza...

A wonderful toy... as long as you are willing to go through DIY nightmare to build it...

I bought this toy for my son's 1st birthday (but opened it early), and I also thought his 2 year old brother would also enjoy it. I woke up at 8am to build it, as my kids generally wake up at 9am and I thought it would take around 30-45 minutes to put it together. I have only just finished it, and the time is now 11:30! So how could 1 toy take 3.5 hours to put together... With 34 ill fitted pieces and screws it is just madness. Twice during the build I wanted to give up and take it back, but my children's sad faces kept me going. I am disappointed on the Argos description it does not state that a Philips screw driver is required, as I honestly would not have bought it if I had known as I just assumed the pieces easily clicked together.
Seeing my 11 month old son playing with it however does make it all worthwhile. He is enjoying it, although I am not sure for how long for.
Pros: Fits in a Linden playpen so the balls stay confined.
Cons: A pain in the neck to put together.
I do not think this toy is worth £50. Probably worth £35-40 max. If I had bought this toy for £100 I would have taken it back the moment I saw all the pieces flying out of the box.
NB: Argos sells 6 C batteries for £8.99 whereas Mothercare sells 4 C batteries for £1.75
