Would like a child's tea set and other kitchen toys preferably wooden but not bloody pink!!
Sick of only seeing them for girls and would like something either plain wooden or brightly coloured.

Any good websites or makes that don't do 'boys' or 'girls' toys? Just plain or bright?

Wooden teasets are a bit brutal tbh - v heavy. I have seen some good tin ones though - I bought my niece a spotty one a couple of years ago. Will look out some links.

bugs pretty unisex really?

northernlurker · 03/09/2013 16:18

We have this one

ImFineThankYou · 03/09/2013 16:20

Yes they're more the sort of thing I was thinking.
Are the wooden ones really heavy? I just really don't like the plastic ones and they seem to be the only ones I've seen in 'neutral' colours!

This is fun picnic set

northernlurker · 03/09/2013 16:21

We have a wooden kettle that could cause concussion Grin Honestly especially for little dc I would go with tin. NOT CHINA (bitter experience)

LeMousquetaireAnonyme · 03/09/2013 16:22

I have a plain one from "plan toy". Well, DD2 have.
There is also a spanish and a french brands that do neutral toys. scratch head to remember names...

We have a wooden tea set and not only is it a bit heavy, the cups are also really chunky and cause lots of spills when dd fills them up.

ImFineThankYou · 03/09/2013 17:22

Don't fancy anyone getting concussed! Will stick to tin types. Love love love the china ones but there's no chance I'm buying those to have them smashed to pieces!
Some great ideas there, thank you all.

We gave our nephew a pink tea set and he loved it! Didnt even notice the colour, he just loved making everyone 'tea'.

ImFineThankYou · 03/09/2013 18:14

It's not that I think boys can't have pink, I'm just not keen on the colour!

I would not give a damn about the color
