TP are totally brilliant, and you can get spare parts easily, far out lasted any of friend's one bought at same time, best money we ever spent on an activity equipment for garden, we really had our moneys worth.

If you get too smaller a one, you will be looking to replace it quite quickly, but the very largest has less bounce , we got the one down from largest, it takes a lot more weight than some of the others,

as for getting on and off, get someone to build some steps, or if you have a slope in the garden put it at the bottom and have a bridge/deck to it, (that's what we did)

or sink it into the ground.

We got DS the Plum 5ft play trampoline (paid about £50 for it) when he was 2. It's very low from the ground so he can climb on and off it fine. He's now nearly 4 and still loves it.

It's not going to do him for years, but it's a good half way measure and I feel we've got our money's worth already. Not necessarily what your looking for but another option to consider.

you're not your Blush

Agree with Scottishplayer about the Plum 5ft.
DD has used it a lot and definitely got our money's worth out of it. The only problem now is the allure of DSs 10ft Grin

We got a 6ft Activo Surroundsafe on special offer from Trampolinesworld - it has "Tesco" on the label which we thought was odd, and lo and behold it's now exclusively available there for £150, when we paid under £100. But Trampolinesworld sell the next size up - 8ft - for the same price, £150. It's expensive, but it is brilliant - the way they set the surrounding net up and the entrance bit means they can't ever bounce out, off, or into the springs or poles. It's pretty much totally safe. A&E staff say trampolines and flat screen tellies cause a huge number of child injuries and I am --neurotic, and it will last him until he's quite a lot older, so that was what I went for.

As in, we won't need to buy a toddler one, and then a primary school aged one in a few years. So in the end it should work out cheaper.

TP make Activo trampolines, incidentally, and Surroundsafe is I think patented to them.
