Toy kitchen recommendations

I want to buy DS2 a toy kitchen for his 2nd birthday but don't know which one to get. Anyone got any recommendations?

I have been looking at the John Lewis wooden one, but was not sure if it had enough bits/functions to keep him (and 3 year old brother ) entertained. Not really sure which other ones I should be considering.

Any thoughts/recommendations gratefully accepted!

The Ikea one is excellent and still going strong after 2 years in our house (my dcs are now 6 and 4 and both still play with it regularly). You just need to get plenty of bits and pieces - saucepans and pretend food etc - to go with it.

My parents got dd the red one from Great Little Trading Co for Christmas, when she was nearly 2, and I must say, it's lovely! It doesn't 'do' anything (other than have clicks knobs to turn), but dd really likes it. We got her a pan set from the same company, & some plastic food from somewhere, & it keeps her busy. It has 3 opening cupboards, & is really nice quality.

I went to IKEA the other day, and it looks better than any other I've seen...

Thank you. Never even thought of Ikea, will take a look online. We are not anywhere near an ikea so any other suggestions would still be appreciated too.

My DCs loved the Casdon kitchen stuff, it's not one kitchen but replica cooker, washing machine, dishwasher etc, even a George Foreman Grill and Kenwood Chef. They have moving parts and make all the right noises and are nice and compact too. Get them in ToysRUs or independent toy shops. They are 6 and 8 yo now and still use these toys sometimes.

We recently bought the Ikea one for DD (aged 2) and she (and we!) love it. We also looked at ELC but theirs was very pink and more expensive.

IKEA one is brilliant! Got it for my DD 2yrs last Christmas. She loves it. I like the fact it's wooden and not pink plastic like all the other one's. The price is good too.

We got a kitchen from elc a couple of years ago which was almost identical to this red retro one. It's a good size - big enough for two and not so small that he's grow out of it.

However, had this little tikes one been about when I was buying one then I might have been tempted to get this instead.
