Jumperoo

DS2 (4 months) loves jumping (bouncing) but my arms are killing me. We have a door bouncer, but if he's in it then he's in DS1's way to get in and out of the room.

So would I be mad to spend a small fortune on a jumperoo? I know they have them on ebay but they're generally collection only.

I would really recommend a Jumperoo. My dd2 was 4 months when I got ours and I can honestly say it is one of the best baby items I have bought, I'm quite disappointed that I didn't buy one for dd1!. My dd2 would happily sit and bounce in it all day if I let her, she absolutely loves it. I usually put her in there at mealtimes so that I can cook and then dd1 and I can eat.

They are very expensive brand new, I managed to get a second hand one on ebay, but as you said they are generally collection only. They do sell for quite a good price on ebay, so if you did buy one brand new you could easily sell it on again for about half the original price

Do you ever use the netmums website? (not sure I should mention them on here?!!) They have a nearly new section and it is local to your area, you might find one there.

We had one for ds who loved it, and we only remembered it was there last week for dd, she was bouncing away within 10 minutes and would stay in it all day if we let her.
