i have a wooden door to my bedroom with two textured glass panels that take up most of the door. Like this one below but with a panel in the middle.

It's too expensive at the moment to replace the door so i am looking up a DIY solution to block out the light. Maybesomething i can peel and stick over that looks sophisticated.

My whole flat is baby pink but the doors are white. Any suggestions?

We've just renovated and removed very similar looking doors. I'd be cautious because they are unlikely to be safety glass!

You can get opaque slick on rolls and likely a black out type too. Our doors had a curtain on one side. So a tiny pole across the back of the door and a curtain hanging down, then another tiny pole across the bottom to hold it in place. Similar to this pic https://www.thegritandpolish.com/blog/all-the-details-on-our-cute-glass-door You could obviously use a black out curtain material instead though.

Another property they had nailed on a piece of ply wood over 1 side of the glass! Hardly sophisticated, but maybe if better wood was used or it was painted well, that side might look ok.

A curtain on the bedroom side?

I can see B&Q sell several types of black out, stick on stuff in various sizes. Advertised for 'windows' but the same stuff. Just ensure it goes on the smooth side of the glass if you choose that. I can't link I'm afraid- something going glitchy.

thank you very much everyone!

There is no smooth side sadly, both sides are textured. I thought about just painting it. It's a very tick glass so I don't think it will break.
