Cost of new bathroom?

I've got space for a downstairs toilet off my kitchen. I would like to get it built, and have it like a little utility too - with washer and dryer in there as well. I'm thinking about 1.5 meter width by 3 meters long.

Has anyone had one installed recently and how much was it?

Quoted between £13k and £20k from various builders

Thanks. Was this an external extension?

I should have clarified - this would be internal, as I'd just be loosing space in my kitchen x

Internal

We had quotes between £20 and (gulp) £40 for a 2x3 m bathroom. Internal but involved a lot of pipe work moving around.

I was quoted 8k for a refit of an existing bathroom last year. So yes I’d say for an internal conversion I’d say around £15k+

Thank you all - these figures are much higher than I was expecting, sadly. I'll still get some builders to quote, but it's good to have been pre warned!!

£12k a few years ago to move a bathroom from its bizarre location into the box room. So probably £15-18 ish in today’s money

We have been making a downstairs bathroom and laundry room next to the kitchen but doing a lot of the work ourselves - we also already have the walls for the rooms in place. Moving the washing machine and drier the plumbing work was about £1300 including vat including taking to drain outside and providing plumbing for the new bath. Plumbing in and putting in place bath will be about £650 incl vat. Electrics first lot was £915 incl vat, this was putting sockets in for washing machine, drier, putting lights in 3 rooms and moving some sockets as can't be in bathroom with bath and fixing a disused socket. Though they then pointed out needed a new consumer unit and then we have electrics for jacuzzi bath which has been a further £1250 including vat and they also spotted another fault we will have to pay for. Everything else we are doing ourselves.
