We don’t do presents in my family for nieces/ nephews as there are so many of us.
The exception is special birthdays eg 18th and 21st.
It’s my nephews 21st birthday in 8 weeks. I want to get him a gift for about £25. (I know this isn’t loads but I don’t have loads to spare.)
Me and my kids love him but there are a few issues with the gift.

I can’t see him or send it to him. (He lives 3 hrs away with a family member who is about to move house herself taking him with her but it’s a bit chaotic and I can see anything I send getting lost.)

He doesn’t have an email address so I can’t send him a voucher via email. This is because of anxiety he has got rid of his emails.

He is sensitive, kind and musical as in he plays in a brass band.

Due to his mental health issues he doesn’t really like shopping so for example a pull and bear voucher wouldn’t work.

Maybe an Amazon voucher or something but I’m not sure if he would spend it. He is low maintenance!

So I appreciate this is a bit of a difficult one but has anyone got any ideas of what I could whattsap to him as a gift?

Failing that I will ask my sister for his bank details and just transfer the money with “happy birthday” as the reference.

He hasn’t got much money as he isn’t working due to his mental health. We have been very worried about him for various reasons so I don’t want to not get him anything.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Does he have Revoult? Thats how I gift all my nieces and nephews!

Sounds like a bank transfer would be the best thing, and chance sending a card in the post. For a 21st birthday I’ve given £21, a pound for each year .

Ive never heard of revoult. I’ll google it. Thanks.

That’s a sweet idea to send £21.

Bank transfer or send the voucher/gift to the email of the person he lives with.

I think if you buy an Amazon gift card and send it to your own email, you can then copy the link and send it on to him via any sort of means like WhatsApp. The gift card isn’t tied to an email
address.
But if he doesn’t have an email address, I don’t think he’d be able to actually use Amazon.

Transferring direct to his bank account and sending a happy birthday message on WhatsApp at the same time is probably the easiest for him and for you.
