In social settings I always feel like the last choice etc

right now things with my sister are different. She’s cancelled on seeing me for just a chat up just us twice. The first time she was too tired then we didn’t have time before the weekend which we saw each other all weekend then now it’s another reason to cancel.

she even made comments of someone she doesn’t really like made her feel better about a situation and I was there when this person gave their opinion and I was so confused because all she did was make a comment that was so generic and not sympathetic etc and we all said it too?

she even choose to see this person she says she doesn’t like etc and invited her to our nights. It’s very strange but I feel I’m always the last choice when when there’s people who aren’t liked there

I'm not really sure what your middle paragraph means to be honest, but are you relying on your sister a bit too much? I mean, if you saw each other all weekend anyway then why did you need to see her before that as well? Do you have other friends?

I can relate. I felt similar.
Maybe you could widen your social network?

Do you have other friends or family that you could meet up with instead of just your sister? 🤔

Do you have children?
Are there other mums in your childs school that you could meet up with and then have play dates? 💃

If no children, then could you join a choir, a club, volunteer your time, church, or maybe go on meet ups with other like minded folk? 🤓

Hope you're feeling better OP @haiana
