Bonnie Greer has died

On the news just now . She was a playwright , critic , writer amongst other things .

I loved her writing , she was very astute and her intellect shone through . I hadn’t seen her on tv for a while , but apparently was a great commentator on newsnight etc . She had also received an OBE in 2010 for her service to the arts .
She died aged 77 after a short illness .

Bonnie was such an erudite, thoughtful, and thought-provoking speaker. I'll definitely miss her contribution to discussion about the Arts and the world in general.

I agree . I have ordered 2 of her books from eBay ( second hand copies ) as haven’t read any of her novels before . She looked so much younger than her years in the photos published with the obituaries.
