My daughter is leaving to go travelling in just over a week. She has just had a scan due to a bit of pain and discomfort which she thought was due to a misplaced coil. The scan shows a large amount of free fluid behind her ovary. She has pcos and possible endometriosis. Coil in the right place.
Does anyone know what this might be? We are waiting for gynae to have a look at the scan and hoping for a call on Tuesday but panicking about timescales and insurance. They seem to think more fluid than usual before ovulation. They may have said 16 mls if I remember correctly.
