Does anyone else remember whole conversations but can’t remember who they were with ?

This does happen to me quite a bit , I can remember the ins and outs of the conversation and particular precise details but then have to think really hard as to who the conversation was with . Does this happen to anyone else ?

Yes me - surely it’s normal if you see a number of people regularly..? At least, I thought it was!!

Yes. I have a lot of work meetings and, if I don’t have my notes in front of me, they all sort of blur into one

The night before last I caught myself saying to DH, "I'm sure my great-aunty told me this [with a specific and detailed explanation]...or did I read it on Mumsnet?"

I'm still not entirely sure where the information came from - if it was my great-aunty, she must have told me it pre-2015 when she lost capacity and went into a nursing home. Equally, I've been reading MN since 2013. In either case, I'm sure the information in question was heard on the Martin Lewis radio programme.

DH does this. He insists he had conversations with me about things I definitely would have remembered, when in fact he was chatting to his dad or one of our Dc on the phone about them.

Not experienced this.

However, have met people on a train twice where we both recognised each other but have no clue as to how we know each other.
