We’ve got one in our campervan - works really well.
Air fryer setting is pretty fierce - makes amazing chips, wedges and great for chicken legs, wings etc as well. You have to be able to turn things over or swish them about a bit because all the heat comes from the top. Have also done kebabs, skewers, sausages and burgers in it
I usually use the roast setting for roasted veg, tray bakes etc. Last night I did chicken legs with new potatoes, shallots, pepper, courgettes, chilli, garlic, wine and herbs. I air fried the underneath of the legs while I was chopping everything and then put the veg on the bottom with the chicken legs on top, skin side up, for 30 mins. Was lovely.
I use recrisp if I’ve bought a quiche/pastry thing from the traiteur/deli and keep warm is useful when you need to… keep things warm
We usually use a Cadac grill when we’re away but not at the moment because France is so dry, and we haven’t missed it at all. Don’t have an oven in the van
Not sure how you’d bake in it because the heat comes from on top but it says you can. We don’t often use the grill plate but we do generally use paper liners
hope that helps!
