Mouth cancer?

I noticed this inside my mouth today. It is a little uncomfortable. I’m away for a week so can’t visit a dr at the moment. My googling has worried me. Does it look concerning or could it be anything else?

I once had a huge lump appear on the end of my tongue. My gp was so worried, he got me seen by a consultant the next day. Turned out to be a harmless haemagioma which they removed under sedation. I don't know what you have, but anyway that was my experience. Btw I think nowadays you can see a dentist about mouth issues. Check your gp will even see you. Good luck x

It looks like a mouth ulcer. Use hot salt water to keep it clean. Keep a close eye on it and if it hasn’t completely healed within a couple of weeks then see your dentist.
GPs tend to either panic or treat you with anti fungal for thrush. Your dentist will be able to refer you rapidly if they consider it suspicious.
Keep taking photos every few days to monitor its shape, size and appearance so your dentist can see if it’s healing.

It doesn't look like cancer, but what do I know, check with your dentist when you get home, use a mouthwash for inflammation.

I get that, it’s where I kind of chew my cheeks in my sleep….

Looks like you’ve been chewing your cheek in your sleep. Get it checked if it hasn’t cleared up after about 3 weeks but I wouldn’t worry at this point.
