As the title. It’s not affordable right now but I feel at crisis point. Children involved, no abuse (accept for the disrespect and name calling in arguments.) I am safe. But very unhappy.

Look into Marriage Care & Mind if you have them in your area

A friend recommended the book Rapport which she read with her partner.

Look into the Marriage Course - not free but good value.

Why do you want to save a marriage where there is disrespect and name calling???

I can see where we are butting heads. I think it’s not hopeless. I believe a non biased third party can help us to understand where each other is coming from and help us be kinder to each other.

Name calling is abuse.

NatalWoman · 04/08/2026 19:21

@mini124thanks, will do.

@PermanentTemporarythanks, I’ll look into that.

@Betadeltathank you, could be an option. I can’t do the usual £120 per couple’s session

I think relate sometimes offer free services, but I don't know how you can access that. Perhaps via a charity or GP, but worth looking into.

NatalWoman · 04/08/2026 19:52

@Imicola thanks for the suggestion but they don’t do couples.
