A bump for you..dealing with DWP is very stressful ..get help from a local charity to help navigate sometimes food banks have benefit advisors + local council

It's extremely easy to go down that route I've done it myself and we are away to embark on it again.
This time I'm collating as much evidence from professional bodies and have a face to face with gp to state my wife's case and her struggles and then an appointment to navigate the UC 50 form after the GP verdict.
You can't do much at 11.30 pm and no one at DWP is up at night thinking about you.do some googling tomorrow morning and find help with a reconsideration you don't have to do it alone

Can you get a phone call with a mandatory reconsideration? I request a phone call. Mine lasted an hour and a half

@Blodyneighbour
thank you for your reply and this was a video call with the tribunal it’s the process after the mandatory reconsideration when you appeal it with the appeal service you be on video call/ phonecall/ in person with a judge and a medical advisor it just gives you another chance to make your case stronger I guess but it is honestly horrible to do
