what colour carpets with kids?

Jut bought a 3 bed flat and the carpet fitters are coming to measure in 2 weeks. I need to make a decision quickly.

The walls with be white or baby pink. We are wanting to start a family so anything that easily stains is out the question. Also I really dislike grey and blue and prefer warmer colours!

what colour carpets work well?

Poo coloured, with a mix of vomit, posset and unexplained stuff that just appears out of nowhere. Honestly I gave up with carpet. I do suggest something hard wearing and a very good carpet cleaner.

I have cream with two kids. As long as you give it a good carpet clean every now and again it is fine.

Ive always had plain neutral carpets with oriental carpets which can conceal a multitude of sins. There are a range of washable ones now which i Would think of using.

I just looked up bleachable carpets- I had no idea these existed!
