Another F**king puncture

On holiday and yep, another pothole another puncture. Third this year and up to £900 in costs. Pissed off isn't the word. Whoever gets in No 10 please sort the roads out.

You must have very expensive tyres.

My last one was bad enough at £197 for the tyre, plus £20 for tracking, plus half an hour for the kind man at ATS to hammer the dent out of my alloy.

My driving style has changed over the last three years. I now watch the tarmac in front of me, rather than the car in front. Where I know the potholes, I wait for gaps in the traffic and slalom around the holes.

We hit a massive pothole recently on a dual carriageway, couldn't swerve out of the way as someone was in the lane next to us. It popped the tyre, cracked the alloy, shattered the screenwash reservoir that sits above the passenger wheel and damaged the suspension. £600 later from one pothole, we tried to claim it back from the council and they rejected it. It's ridiculous round here, there are so many everywhere, even in the middle of the motorway
