Please lovely Mumsnetters give me some inspiraion for gifts and/or activites to take when visiting my DSis and her tribe for a summer weekend. Two familiies, 16,14 & 9 and 9 and 7.
Interested in anythng that might help me engage with them. I dont spend any other time around younger people and woudl like to get to know them better.
We have a meal out together around Christmas, when I take them 'niace' notebooks and a range of writables which have deveoped from crayons to pens and pencils, mostly to give them something to do at the table.
This weekend will be more diverse, when they wil be staying with DSis. Im all out of ideas, thought perhaps small bottles of bubbles might be fun. I have also picked up a bag of irregular shaped bricks to try and build from.
Any suggestions very welcome, no real budget constraints but the two groups will be going home in opposite directions so a few things migth be better than one single thing.
