Present for leaving nanny

Hi all

Our lovely nanny will be leaving us at the end of next week as my twins are going to nursery full time in September. She’s been with us 5 years (since my eldest was 9 months).

id like to get her a leaving gift but short on ideas. I would like to avoid gift vouchers because she’ll be getting quite a sizeable redundancy payment anyway and putting money/vouchers in an envelope feels a bit awkward.

Has anyone got any ideas please ? Flexible on budget. I’ll obvs get her some nice flowers and a card too.

Lovely photo frame with a photo of the kids?

It's difficult because we don't know her. And everyone is different. Piece of jewellry / earrings would be my go to but not for everyone.

I wouldn't give a photo of the kids. I'm sure she loves them but just no. Jewellery is a good idea, a necklace perhaps if she wears them. A permanent keepsake.

Good point.

she likes cooking & eating, hiking and nature. She’s not super girly. She is mid 50s and married with 2 grown up step kids .
