Dog walking

Is anyone else fed up with seeing the amount of posts on FB telling people not to walk their dogs in hot weather? If people are stupid enough to do it, will they see a post and suddenly think “oh, okay, I won’t”

I guess if it gets the message across then it’s fine. There will always be the perpetual dimwits who think they know better.

I guess maybe it helps in that it makes it socially unacceptable so someone may then call out someone walking their dog inappropriately

I think it’s fine - people don’t know what they don’t know.

The RSPCA is telling people not to walk their dogs today.

My local rag is asking people to send in photos of dog walkers so they can shame them. Ignoring the fact that some people do not have gardens so have to go out to let their dogs pee etc.
A lady posted on the same page saying a man had a go at her when she was taking her dogs to her car to take them to the groomers (for a fur clip which would have helped them cool down).
My mum was at mine this week with her dog. She left with him and walked to her car to take him home. She would be fucking raging if some knob got up in her face about walking a dog in this heat.
