I work full time and need to be in the home the rest of the time. I have an urgent need to make some money. It doesn’t really matter why because I don’t want to derail the thread but does anybody do anything extra that is easy and lucrative?

I will actually do anything. Thank you

The quickest thing is matched betting, although you need to understand it and keep good records. Look at Save the Student.

Buying and selling? Buy bundles on Marketplace or Vinted and then sell off some items individually on EBay, where prices tend to be a bit higher.

If it were ‘easy and lucrative’ (and legal), we’d all be doing it.

Home call-centre type job?

Sell stuff you don’t need - toys, clothes, stuff in the loft.

I honestly don’t know nowadays- on our local Fb group when someone asks about getting a babysitter or cleaner they’re swamped by 50 people offering their services. Sadly I think all can be done is to get a better paying job unless there’s any chance you’ve any amazing talents that you could turn consultant at/ offer grinds in

Huge declutter and get everything on Vinted?

How much do you need? There's a big difference between £100 and £10,000 in terms of achieveability

£100 is sell some stuff on ebay/vinted/do a boot sale
£1000 is a few months of a second job
£10,000 is sell a car sort of thing or a year of a serious second job

Can you take a mortgage break? If your mortgage provider is signed up to the mortgage charter can you reduce your monthly payment by extending the term? Under the charter you can do this with no credit rating impact and change back within 6 (I think) months again with no penalty.
