I went in January.

the waterparks were shut.

daytime temp was 15-25 degrees

The Siam Park website says it is open all year around.

Weather in the Canaries in winter is variable, can be hot and sunny but not guaranteed. All you can do is hope for the best and obviously check the forecast before committing to go on particular day.

I found it ok but the pools were freezing. If you want somewhere pleasantly warm it’s fine but it isn’t summer sunbathing warm

mindfulmoaning · 01/06/2026 21:49

I generally go every January. This year was the least warm it’s been for the past 5/6 years but it was still about 23 degrees and I sunbathed.

You could expect warm sunshine and temperature in the low 20s during the day, cooler in the evening. So similar to a nice spring day here. Not warm enough for a water park IMO although DS and his partner went last year in February and went to Siam Parc.
I would swim in pool and sea but it's definitely cold in the water.

I’ve been to Siam Park once in March and it was just about tolerable. Air temperature was about 22degs. This year we went the same time and had terrible weather so didn’t go. I wouldn’t risk February. If you have kids and don’t have a choice, make sure they have a UV suit and a towelling cover up or similar to walk around in. Siam Park is fantastic, though.

I went in February 2024 and it was 27 degrees and the pool was lovely for a swim

We went this February half term and it was lovely- around 23-25 degrees every day. Kayaking and swimming in the sea in just swimming costumes was freezing but surfing in wetsuits was lovely and Siam park also perfectly nice (and not too busy at all) on the day we went. However , I think it rained a lot the following week so seems a bit luck of the draw.

I went in January. We were in the mountains and high up so it wasn’t that warm - around 14 at best but sunny. We went down to the coast one day where it was much warmer - maybe 21. Then we went to the north of the island which was raining. Due to its geology, weather is very localised in Tenerife.

I have been to the Canaries in January.

It was generally nice weather outside and ok to swim the in sea, BUT the hotel swimming pool was like being in an ice bath. Couldn’t use it.

I’ve been to canaries in Feb, march, April and July and the February was the sunniest and hottest, though less daylight hours so colder at night. I always book a hotel with a heated pool.

We were in Lanzarote in February and it was plenty warm, probably 20-25c during the day. It is windy depending on where you are. We didn’t go to water parks, but it was plenty hot sitting around in the shade by the pool. It only got cool about 5pm and I needed a cardigan some evenings. The heated pool was too warm for us and we mostly used the unheated one.
