Right (hand clap emoji )

I'm having a tricky time with at home and at work currently and I'm pretty much stress level wise at my maximum..

If I disappeared for a while just to regroup how long woukd it be before my family and loved ones realise I was gone and raised the alarm?

I reckon 2 days, possibly a few more as the freezer is pretty full . In context dh goes away frequently with work, sometimes weeks at a time and I quite frankly do not. Dcs at home but teenagers so could cobble a breakfast together.

This is light hearted but dear god I am tempted .

I totally sympathise with your stress level maximum OP. I've got this overwhelming desire to disappear from my life atm. Just would love to be transported to somewhere nobody knows me and there are no problems.
Only thing is somewhere with no problems doesn't really exist.

I hope you ride the storm OP and things get easier.

Whilst you jest, I suspect your family would notice sooner than you think. If your DC are of an age where they can fend for themselves a bit and DH is not currently working away so will be in the background, can you take some annual leave, or even some unpaid leave, and go away somewhere to get some time out? If part of the “tricky time at home” is DH not pulling his weight / taking you for granted etc then would arranging something and then simply telling him shortly beforehand that you were getting some space from everything be an option?

Are you not able to take annual leave and book a hotel somewhere nice for yourself for a couple of days?
