I stupidly bought aquarium plants on vinted. They arrived broken and slimy. Seller is being unreasonable and not refunding. I sent 9 photos and the want more! Shall I stop conversing with them and get vinted to look into it? They offered a 20% refund which I declined as 100% of the product is unusable. I did offer to return it they said that would cost too much 🙈

How would it cost too much to them if you were to return it? On Vinted the buyer always pays return postage regardless (unless mutually agreed with the seller). Ask Vinted to step in.

Just remember to check Vinted’s ‘Significantly not as described’ policy and use their terminology - you’re often dealing with chatbots so knowing their policies, processes & terms helps. Vinted can be a pain when things go wrong.

You will get your money back - but not quickly!

They are giving the seller another 48 hours to reply. He’s messaged and said I won’t get my money back 🤪 got to love vinted

Vinted will give you a refund, it'll just take time. They're not the best. Very frustrating.

Be patient! If you’ve provided the SNAD evidence & he keeps arguing with the bots past the deadline you’ll get your refund without having to return anything. I had this, having politely requested a return - once the seller realised that their continual pushing back simply resulted in Vinted refunding my money, they started complaining to me that I hadn’t sent back the item they’d refused the return for 🤷‍♀️
