Just that really. I’m now 50 and peri so on HRT. Also take magnesium glycinate which is helping sleep and also an iron tablet on alternate days for low ferritin levels.

I don’t take anything else (tried collagen powder for about 6 months and didn’t see any changes so sceptical about that) but still enjoy weight training at gym once a week and running twice. Not long distance probably just 5/6km each time. Keeps things ticking over and o live the head space it gives me and seeing nature.

Wvery aches more now though especially knees and hips. I do yoga a few times a week but just short blasts and I stretch religiously after every training or run.

Can anyone recommend supplements genuinely worth trying to help with joint protection? We eat pretty well so I’m up for looking at ways to get more good stuff that way.

Thanks in advance ☺️

knees and hip pain comes from the hip & core
add a gym session a week addressing this.

other than that, varied diet with enough protein should do. no need for supplements apart from what you already do.

So sorry for belated reply. Thanks, I’ve been a bit uninspired at the gym lately and it’s all felt a bit Groundhog Day. I’ll look into that, will be good to mix it up anyway
