Noticed a black spot between toes.

I noticed this freckle between my toes a few weeks ago. Seeing the GP next week. Google was a bad idea as now I'm worrying. Also wondering how a biopsy in that area would be for recovery if anyone has any experience of this?

Do you go swimming or bare feet around children? Just wondering if it’s a verruca?

Thank you for posting as I hadn't thought anything of it, but I looked again today after your post and it is definitely bigger and darker than it was. I now have an appointment to see the practice nurse this afternoon thanks to you.

Looks like a verruca!

I had a much bigger one appear between 2 toes. They just removed it, it wasn't cancerous but I doubt they'd biopsy at that size, they'll just remove it I would think if there are any concerns. Mine was between my 4th and 5th toes and I have tiny toes so they couldn't see it properly with their device as it was too big so just opted for removal to be safe.
Recovery was about a month before it stopped hurting but I had a job on my feet all day at the time which delayed healing. The worst part was probably the local injection between my toes!
