In search of a genuine psychic

Does anyone know a psychic - an intelligent legitimate one - who can cleanse a house with sage or whatever or see if there are unhappy souls here? Between London and Cambridge, east Anglia line.

I always feel dread at home and I’m sure it’s the crap marriage, being expat, too far from a community. Let’s not try to solve at that it’s too much. But the way the entire place holds the unhappiness makes me wonder if there’s not other elements. The builder went bankrupt and the place is difficult and expensive maintain. My kids each had terrible times here. Yes I want to move but I’m wedded to a stone. Too much to solve in a column I’d like to see what a genuine person in touch with all aspects of a place thinks. And can they do something to improve it.

I would agree with pp. Try to find out what will help you to move on. Would couples counselling help? It sounds as if you're a bit isolated, too.

’Genuine psychic’ is an oxymoron. They are, without exception, charlatans who take advantage of the vulnerable.

A psychic won’t be of any help, you need to contact your local Diocese and arrange a blessing on your house, they will be of more help than a psychic if that’s the kind of thing you want.

How would that help? That’s just as pointless and nonsensical as a psychic.

I moved into a house that just had the most horrible feeling. Could have been me, could have been something do do with the house, no idea. After about a week of lying awake at night thinking 'this is off and I hate it' I got so fed up I purposely strode around the house saying, 'This is b*s, I'm not having it, I live here now and things are going to improve."

It probably just changed how I felt, sort of returned the power and energy to me, and I felt differently about the house after that.

Maybe it will be the start of you putting your all into making the changes in your own life so that you can feel happier.

Couple counseling - been there done that multiple times.

Somewhat isolated but actually not here a lot. Lots of friends in the UK but not too many locally. A few locally but little time when here because the place is a lot of work.

Well I was skeptical until I had experience after experience that made me open. And my dad had massive esp. So who knows. I don't think we know everything and there are people who are in tune with more than the strictly rational. So while there are plenty of charlatans there are also those who are in tune with something more. Whether it's merely esp or something else I have no idea but I don't think it's only the five senses for all of us.

A tin of bright paint might help, and a few bunches of flowers or flowering pot plants. Buy some crystals if you want something symbolic.

Get a vicar or other cleric to bless the house?

If the OP has confidence in it, it might make a difference to how she perceives the house. She feels negative in the house and thinks cleansing it is worth a go. The Church wouldn't continue to do this if there was no call for it and people didn't believe it worked for them.

Try doing it yourself, OP, with sage. There's bound to be stuff online about how to do it. I don't think you need a psychic - you are psychic enough to be picking up on negative energy, so you can influence it yourself!

Some places do have noticably different energies and it is possible to improve them .She has written a book about it which I would totally recommend reading . You can do it yourself although she does recommend a Balinese bell which I have but are expensive to buy . I bought mine on ebay . Also there are practitioners on her website but it might be several hundred pounds and a day of effort . I have done it each time I moved house and found it well worth the money . My parents house was transformed 20 years ago from an unhappy miserable uncomfortable house where people had been ill and died to a calm peaceful uplifting atmosphere like a Balinese temple. Even I could clearly feel it . And I got much more money for it . It was a huge amount of money for me at the time but very much worth it .

Google for your local Spiritualist church. They’ll recommend someone to come and clear the energy for you.
