A week or so ago DS(2.5), my sister and I were walking into town and walked past a cemetery. As soon as we got to the fence and DS could see in he started smiling and giggling whilst staring into the cemetery. He stopped as soon as we were past the fence. The same thing happened when we walked back. At one point he was saying " not there, not there, there". It freaked my sister out but DS seemed happy.
My parents had DS today whilst I was at work and they ran a few errands one of which was putting a plaque on a stone at a different cemetery. My mum told me that DS was giggling and looking around as soon as they got through the gates and seemed elated the whole time in there. She asked whilst there why he was laughing and he just kept saying " it makes me laugh".
Neither me nor my sister had mentioned his reaction the week before

Not really sure why I'm posting. I just found it oddly comforting.
Anyone else had anything similar?

My dd(13) can see spirits ever since we can remember. Some she mistakes for actual people, some are shadows, some are hazy and some as sparkles or orbs. She can also see auras if she concentrates. She doesn’t pay them much attention and used to seeing them all her life so she isn’t scared of them thankfully.

DGS is 2.6, DH took him to the playpark near DD’s house today, it’s very secluded, up a little path and is surrounded by trees.
He was sat on the roundabout staring into the trees, when DH asked him what he was looking at, first he said ‘don’t know’ then he pointed and said ‘that boy there’ , DH asked him about the boy and nearly freaked out when he said the boy was wearing red trousers ! (DD had an imaginary friend at the same age called Jimmy Cason who wore red trousers and had red hair) he asked him what colour hair the boy had and he said black - when DH asked him what the boy was doing, DGS said he was crying and very sad and ‘go get him Grandad’ . DH said he couldn’t because of the fence and then said it was time to go home, DGS got on his trike andDH said he was looking back all the way to the gate then said ‘gone now’ .

DH was quite spooked when they came back to me and DD.

Years ago when my now teenage son was about 2 we used to walk through a huge cemetery as a short cut. Whenever I tried to walk down a certain part of the cemetery he would scream and thrash around in the buggy so I would always have to stick to the main path. He did this every time we walked through and if he saw the path he didn't like, he covered his eyes. I asked him about it when he was a bit older and he said he didn't like the kids with scary faces in that part of the cemetery because they used to wave at him 😶.
Oh yuck.

My 5-y-o once told us that she would sometimes see a man in military uniform, but with no head. She wasn't scared of him.

We mentioned it to my in-laws and they were shocked. One of them had an air force mechanic brother who had died during WW2 when propellor took his head off. They never talked about this.

During lockdown, we walked to the train station regularly. One day my just turned 3 year old asked “why that man crying?”. I couldn’t see a man anywhere. DS insisted there was a man. He pointed down to the tracks and said “he’s sitting there, he’s sad, he’s crying” 😧
