I don't know exactly how much ours are since recent price increases but it's somewhere between £20 and £25 for half an hour - I know the shinier riding schools round here can be a good £10 more per session

just wondering

Yes, she comes to us once a week and works with dhorse or both of us. I've occasionally gone to her place to ride her schooled horse to keep me one step ahead iyswim.

eu 14 per hour - group lesson of usually around 6 kids at a good school

For me, £26 for 45 minutes private lesson on a weekday - + get the occasional free session on the simulator - this is Gloucestershire (another good reason to move to the county of wonderful schools and hospitals)

When in Lancashire we found a woman who did lessons from her home and she charged £10 for a half hour solo lesson.

DD now has subsidised lessons through her school which is £70 a term for 45 mins with a group of about 6.

I have a private freelance instructor who charges £24 an hour (so if theres 2 of you its £12 each). We use our own horses as she comes to us.

I normally just have the lesson with my friend but I do know she'll do 3 in a lesson at once which would be even cheaper.

East Midlands, £21 for one hour group lesson for DD. I thought it was up to six but it seems to be going up to 8.

Plus riding club on Saturdays. £10 to warm up horse for 20-30 mins and then compete in dressage, working hunter or showjumping.

I pay 8 euros for an hour!! For my kids 1/2 hour was 6 euros, they now take 1 hour lessons and it cost the same as mine.... I bet you are all jealous!!!

We live in France btw. We do pay a small annual fee for licenses etc. And actually I have one of the riding school horse on half livery, and I pay 94 euros a month and get one free lesson a week with that, (I have 2 or 3 lessons a week), and I go go in and ride her pretty much when I want.... Because I do not own her I do not have to pay any vets or farrier bills.
