Single horse trailer

Hi,
we have one horse and need a trailer; does anyone have advice whether there's an advantage to a single horse trailer (might it be more balanced ? Especially as we need to drive a trailer and not done this).
I also wonder if they are harder to resell or keep they value ; we'd likely buy it new if it holds its value reasonably as none near us .

I like them. They are narrower than your car, so less likely to get stuck in narrow gateways, more space inside for the horse then half of a double and lighter so not as heavy a tow vehicle is needed.
I personally have never had any issues with stability and have covered literally thousands of miles towing one, on motorways and country roads.

Our first trailer was an IW 403 - it was fab - I loved knowing that if the car had gone through a gap then the trailer would too - the stall was 1.5 times the width of a standard double stall and every horse we put on it travelled well. I sold it as we needed to be able to transport two horses and sold it for slightly more than I’d paid for it two years before.

This is so kind of you as I'm struggling to choose between a Chevale liberte which is new so unfortunately has VAT on too and a double trailer that is only two years old and hardly used so cheaper. It does sound like we'd find a single trailer much easier to drive and we are complete trailer beginners.
i really appreciate your kind answers, thank you
