Rug recommendations

I’m new to horse ownership and clueless so any advice would be fantastic. I’m looking for a heavyweight turnout rug with neck for a Welsh A (4,9).Wanting something that isn’t utterly rubbish but is also cheapish. She’s living with a rug destroyer, so I want something that isn’t too expensive to replace.

Did you find anything op?
Is you pony a chunky section a or one of the slimmer ones?
My friend has a chunkier Welsh A with a broad chest (not fat) she always gets amigo rugs for her lad as the shape suits him and the price is much more pocket friendly than the similar Rambo ones.

I like the horseware rugs, they have different price points. The more expensive ones are the best quality though. I have some Rambo rugs that are 20 years old and may have been repaired a few times but are still going strong.
If you want budget quality I would go for Premier equine.
Both brands above that I have recommended do the liner systems. You buy one of two outer rugs with no fill and then the liners of different weights are much cheaper and can be doubled up in really cold weather. The liners can also be washed in your own washing machine which saves money.

My daughter just bough a LeMieux heavyweight turn out rug (with neck) and she really likes it. It's keeping pony warm. We got in during the Black Friday sale. Considering the quality it was fairly cheap (around £120 on sale).

Swish rugs. We have a Destroyer of Rugs too. My DD’s horse wears the Swish rugs, he is a broad cobby sort, and it fits him well. Easy straps and buckles, lots of nice colours, liner system available. They are as nice as my horse’s PE rugs, but about half the price.

I have a section C who is quite broad and found Saxon fit her well, but they've stopped doing the one I used to get so now I get derby house ones, they're under £50, and have hooded ones as well as non.

I use premier equine with liners. They live in them all winter and I wash and change the liners as needed.

I find shire rugs good for broad chested horses due to the pleating at the front. They aren't too expensive either. Also Masta are good
