Does this laminitis look under control to you?

My pony is on loan to me to get back into regular work to get her weight down as she has a history of laminitis. She is on soaked hay and no hard feed but has decent turn out on new grass the whole day. I haven't managed laminitis before so I'm not sure if these feet look convincingly under control or if there's anything else I should be looking out for.

Check the laminitis treating the natural way Facebook page op. They're a really friendly bunch with horses at all different stages on the lami path. They'll teach you a lot and might come up with some ideas to try that won't depend on you being there 24/7 or antagonizing the owner... Feeding magnesium oxide (great for reducing cresty necks and shifting stubborn fat deposits) and salt can be game changers, some suggest adding turmeric.
I've got a lami prone pony who is now able to live out from April to November safely, movement is key, so is catching it early. Good luck xx

Thank you for this. I'll have a look. I'm really loving my loan just for all the stuff I'm learning even if I don't get to put it into practice for my loan pony I'll certainly be building my knowledge bank for when I eventually own my own..:I've got some scheming and saving to do before that happens!!
