Our new pony came without a saddle, so we're buying our own stuff for the first time, instead of using whatever came with the pony!
Stirrups range from £12-£300, how much do I need to spend?!
She does a lot of Pony Club, loves jumping and cross country, not so keen on dressage... Also lots of galloping round the hills with friends!
What would you/have you gone for, and why?
I've spent less than expected on pony so far, so could stretch of it was genuinely worth it! But mostly we're running on a shoestring, so if I can spend less, I would prefer it.

I wouldn’t worry too much, just make sure they’re about the right size for her current footwear - if they’re too big her foot could slip forward through it.
Decent quality stainless steel with a rubber tread. If you want safety stirrups the ones with curved sides (curve on the outside, bend towards the front) are more robust than the ones with an elastic side piece.

Enjoy the new pony!

Safety ones, peacock style so they will break if dragged. When my daughter was tiny she had the toe blocker ones on spur straps!

DD's have free Jump stirrups, mid range but worth the peace of mind. The acavalo safety stirrups are similarly priced and also good safety levels. Both give good grip and help leg/foot position too
