hi all hope you can help

i am a non rider. i have applied for a job which would entail learning to ride - they teach you in an intensive 16 week course.

as part of the interview process i have to attend a week long course to see how i take instruction.

i need to buy some basic kit for this but if i dont get the job i wont ever use it again so dont want to spend a fortune. if i get the job they provide all the kit i need.

i need boots - what would be the best for a complete beginner - a jod boot or a long boot?
if i get the job i would need to ride in long boots.

this is my absolute dream job and i want the best chance of showing i can be taught! i just cant decide what boot to get - id only ride maybe 4 times in the week long course so really cant afford silly money.

advice would be hugely appreciated

What do you mean? They're in adult sizes too...

Shriek · 15/11/2018 22:35

It says up to 2.5 on the drop down list, they are children's boots, or so it says.

AllGoodDogs · 15/11/2018 23:09

Says adult / children's and they go up to 8.5 👍

Not being argumentative, but just in case you did want a pair 😂

Ah ..ok! I wouldnt be thinking that...I will follow the link again and try again. And, thanks Wink

It only showed the smaller sizes, and then I tried scrolling down, doh!
That's crazy price! Thanks

Buy a new helmet if yours is more than 5 yrs old. Your head is more important than boots. Helmets should be replaced after 5 years regardless of falls/prangs.

I’d check your hat is PAS 015 passed as they might not let you use it. Have a look and ring them if not sure.

How was the test, did you get the job?!
