Does anyone use this programme for their horses? If so is it worth it? How much do you pay?
Thanks

We used to do it. About £35 a month for our three at the time we used as much wormer as under a conventional programme as worm counts can't pick up encysted worms, don't pick up tape or bott, useless for pinworms and so on.

Thank you. I’ve just moved to new yard and they said it’s compulsory I join up to it and I was just a bit unsure as to the benefits.

Thank you

It a lot better now I do it. Tests for tape bot and such like are now available.
It’s a lot better I think than filling them with wormer.

That's interesting Pasithea, do they do other tests for non egg laying and non excreting worms now?(been a while since I used them)

I’ve been thrown off the yard for taking too long to fill out my forms for IW and for saying there was a few days I couldn’t do on their rota Confused. And for also saying I didn’t want my nearly overweight cob fed more than quadruple what he’s normally fed so he doesn’t go after the yard owners horse once he’s finished his feed (fed in their fields twice a day). Mine is used to being fed once a day tied up on the yard.

So now I have 2 weeks to find grass livery, at this time of year that’s not going to be easy Confused
