Stallion at livery yard

Someone at my yard is trying to bring his stallion to our yard. He is another yard with it but is trying to bring to ours to be with his other couple of mares.
He is a real nasty bully, won't seem to take no for an answer.
I've come up today to find he has lorryed the stallion over and it's been in a stable in the old part of the yard all day. Then he caused chaos bringing it to the school in the new part. He was completely uncontrolled. Didn't open door to school first , didn't shut other gates to protect other horses if he did get loose. Rode him in a snaffle, his head was up like a giraffes the whole time. My mate kept calling him, so he called back and was being and idiot.
Obviously everyone is wary about moving horses about because they might have to go past him.
He's been put back in the stable "For a few hours " apparently. I actually think he just won't take him away again now he is here.
What can I do. I need to write a letter to the yard owner. For some reason she seems to let him walk all over her.
Will her insurance cover her to have a stallion here?
Help!

We have a stallion where I keep my horse he is lovely, but the yard owners know what they are doing and he is no problem, sounds as if the owner is an idiot is the poor thing good enough to be a stallion - top breeding and performance? Or just another poor thing kept as a stallion to breed more poor things sold for £50 each?

Some stallions are fine and beautifully behaved, others not. What arrangements have been put in place for the stallion's turnout? Or is he kept in full time?

If I was in this situation I'd leave the yard ASAP - same day if possible.

My mare was on a yard where the YO had stallions (that weren't breeding quality) and one jumped the fence into my mares field. It then covered her and either jumped back out or was removed and I was not told. We left that yard not long after this must have happened due to a different issue (theft).

Just over a year later at the new yard the mare had a surprise foal - it was pure luck that she was in the stable, rather than in the field with her herd, and that the YO popped into the barn to do last checks. The mare had some difficulty and I ended up with a Sunday night emergency vet bill (ended up being £600). Luckily YO's husband fell in love with the foal and they agreed to have him (for free). He's now a hulking great 2 year old but he suffers from the same poor feet as his mother - which is the reason I'd never have knowingly bred from her, along with a seeming genetic disposition to serious metabolic problems!

My story has a 'positive'(ish) outcome. Had the YO not walked into the barn when she did I probably would have lost the mare and the foal. It's just not worth the risk, IMO, and if I was on a yard with a stallion and a bully owner I'd be out of there like a shot.

Does anyone at the yard have experience with stallions?
My horses and my sons competition pony are at a yard where there are two stallions in residence - however only two people handle them and they have loads of experience, there is special turnout for them, (6ft electric fences), and it is actually a small yard and everyone knows the precautions that need to be taken.
A yard we used to be at - just took a stallion on and it gave me the complete hebegebes as the yard is just not set up for it and none of the staff have the experience required.....
Stallions can be v dangerous if not handles and managed correctly

Apparently he used to be owned by the yard owner, but stopped breeding him because he doesn't throw colours. She put him up for sale and this bloke bought him.
He seems to have no clue. The thing is totally out of control, isn't particularly nice to look at.
He keeps riding up to our yard, riling everyone up. My horse is the biggest tart and goes mad when she hears him.
Yard is not set up for a stallion. Lots of vulnerable horses (old, injured, gelding etc)
Everyone is up in arms about it. Spoke to yard owner who said he is not bringing him up... but apparently everyone thinks he seems to get his own way eventually. Sob

My mares were so much happier when I left the yard with a stallion on it.
Transformed both horses and we are sooooo much better for it.

Easier said than done, but I'd probably give notice. Every yard I've been on has had stallions at one time or another but they've been well handled and lovely horses. You've got more on owner and yard owner problem than a stallion problem. Any out of control horse is bad news, as is a yard owner who won't fix the problem.

If enough of you give notice, the YO might then do something to get rid of the stallion. With winter coming on and the restriction in daylight, turnout and ability to get them exercised, this will get worse, not better.

Honestly I'd find another yard asap. Not worth the risk. The owner and yard owner are obviously not going to handle the situation properly and hard as it is you are far, far better off finding a properly run yard.

I've been on a few yards and the closest we got was a late gelded 2 year old, who caused enough problems as he was starting to realise what his balls were for! He did get gelded however, so problem solved.

None of my other yards would entertain the idea of a stallion - I bought a colt foal and had to keep him almost a secret on the yard on the understanding he was gelded asap so the other liveries wouldn't kick off. He was gelded at 8 months the second his balls dropped!

I have a tarty mare and if a stallion had appeared on any of my yards I would have taken her off the very next day.

No idea what livery availability is around you but your situation sounds like a real nightmare - safety must be maintained, and your situation simply isn't safe.

I’d find another yard as well.
