They are a lovely, lovely family with a farm and two little boys, mum had a horse for 20 years till they died last year, and its the right thing for dpony and ds, it really is.
But we've had dpony for 3 years, and I loves him so much, he's so gorgeous and cheeky, and I'll miss him

It will get better, especially if he's gone to a good home. We're 6 months on from selling dpony2 and it's now lovely to see pics of him having fun and being a superstar for his new jockey. He would have hated to be left in the field with limited opportunity to show off, do his tricks and scrounge for cuddles and treats.

Is sounds like a fantastic home! Will they keep in touch do you think? It sounds like you've done the best for him that you could, so hopefully that will help you feel better about it quickly.

They've said we can visit, and they have a farm shop (at which he may be doing pony rides in the summer) so it would be easy to pop in. Everyone at the yard is saying that it sounds perfect for him.

lovely lovely family
farm
had a horse for 20 years
Your boy has landed on his hooves hasn't he?
You need to pat yourself firmly on the back for finding him such a gorgeous new home, then take a deep breathe in of his body brush (or something).
but a new chapter.
