My current hated job is fetching the hay.It involves removing the parcel shelf and dropping the back seats to fit a huge builders skip bag in the boot, then drive down a muddy lane, unlock the gate, drive through into a muddy yard with 1ft potholes, unbolt the old milking parlour where the hay is,try and get as much in the bag as I can without it going all over the car, while the heavy door blows about in the wind, then do it all in reverse, all the while liberally plastering the car with mud and hay.Get back to the farm, check there are no vehicles in the yard in my way, make sure the dogs aren't loose, unbolt the yard gate, drive to the bottom and drag the bag through a swamp to get to the paddock.
Then new boy rushes over and stuffs his big head in the bag, whilst dpony flies around the field looking horrified, because although she sees the bag every day and she knows what's in it,it still might be a tiger in disguise, just waiting to kill her.
Then have to put all seats ect back and reverse the car up the yard, skillfully avoiding 2 tractors 2 landrovers and various piles of scrap metal dotted about. It's like the bloody Krypton Factor!
