CPD for prospective ECT

Hi, I'm trying to return to teaching after an awfully long time (did my PGCE but not my NQT year).

I want to complete some CPD courses as part of meeting the Teachers' Standards.

What CPD providers do you all recommend, please?

The unions usually do free courses for their ECT members

Thanks, but I haven't got a job yet so I'm not a union member.

Please please please join as soon as you have one.

Ok, will do. Can you please tell me what CPD you have done recently so I can check if I can just pay to do it myself? Thanks so much.

I don't think anything I've done will be useful, to be honest.

But I'd recommend joining your subject association and seeing what they have to offer. See what the exam boards are offering too.

Oh, okay thanks. I should have said I'm a primary teacher.

I would recommend 'Iamacleverwriter' training which you can pay for individually. They have a session coming up on June 23rd on Firm Foundations in Y2, (also some useful content for other years).I don't have any affiliation though have benefitted from their courses.

Thank you @Terew
