Would it look bad if I ask for clarification on low level concern raised against me

I was called into the DSLs office today and told a low level concern had been raised against me. I was told what it was and asked not to repeat the behaviour. I was a bit taken aback so just agreed and left. The meeting took about 5 minutes and the DSL said she didn’t have any concerns that I was a risk to students. Having thought about it further I just cannot see that what I did could possibly even meet the threshold for a low lever concern at all. Since “low level concerns” are an official safeguarding thing and it will be official recorded, would it be frowned upon for me to query it further? I don’t want to come across as though I don’t understand the nature of low level concerns or don’t take safeguarding seriously because I definitely do and really genuinely believe it’s better a school seem OTT on safeguarding thank kids be put at risk and if my behaviour does fall into that I would accept it but I really don’t think it does and I’m quite upset at the idea of it being recorded against my name.

Hi Hon

Sorry you are going through this. You said that the DSL did tell you what the concern is. What is it you need to clarify. Is it what level of concern it is at? What steps have they told you that they are taking to sort it out and support you?

Was It something that was against a school policy? Low level concerns are about staff conduct. I am a DSL- happy for you to contact me if you want any specific advice.
