Hello. I am 36 and a private tutor. I recently started tutoring a 15-year-old boy at his home. Yesterday, I was wearing a red turtleneck sweater and blue skinny jeans. I always dress like this because I believe that not showing any skin is more professional. I was also wearing flip flops but I took them off in my student’s house and went completely barefoot.
During the class, my student told me he found it cute that my toes matched my sweater (I had a red pedicure). I found this very creepy, as it implied he was looking at my feet. He also asked why I didn’t have nail polish on my fingers, why I wore a ring on each of my fingers and if my anklet was gold. He also commented that my earrings were very long, which I found quite strange. I caught him staring at my feet multiple times.
Should I continue tutoring him in the hope that his behavior will change or should I quit?
