Hypermobility and marking

I have hypermobility in my joints and it is particularly bad in my hands and feet. I've always managed to just get on with it but the older I'm getting, the worse it's getting (or I'm less tolerant of the pain). Marking is proving very tricky. My handwriting has always been illegible because I can't grip the pen properly and marking has always caused pain but do-able. But now I've started a school with an extra 10 books to mark per class (from 24 to 34 kids in a class) and i need to give 3 targets in addition to deep marking. I can't mark for more than about 5 books without being in pain. Is it unreasonable for me to ask for adjustments from work or is it something I just need to suck up? What kind of adjustments could I even ask for?

Ask for a referral to occupational health.

Can you get one of those things that prints stickers that you dictate?

Can you make your own tick box list to stick into their books and tick the boxes that apply? www and ebi.

The OP should be asking occupational health to help - not spending her own time and money on workarounds

I agree. I meant the school should pay for the workarounds if they are useful.
