[FREE] Government-Funded Mentoring for 16-17 year olds

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share an opportunity that I thought might be helpful to some. There has just been an expansion of a government-funded programme to offer underserved 16-17-year-olds places on a free mentoring programme.

They will get an inspiring adult mentor from their local community who will help them find and achieve a goal that they set together.

It is a great opportunity for young people with poor school attendance, who experience discrimination, have poor mental health or who face other challenges, to get some additional support and something great on their CV (they will receive a national certificate).

Participants must be based or go to school in the UK and be aged 16-17.
As I mentioned, there have just been a small number of new places released and I expect they will go fast.

See the leaflet below which also has link to find out more and apply.

Hope this helps and please reach out if you have questions.
