Any such thing as day time tutoring?

I teach 3 days a week with 10+ years of experience. From September, my youngest starts reception and i want more paid work on 2 days off. Issue is I need (and would like to) do pick up and drop off. Is there such a thing as day time tutoring? If so, what kinds of students do you tutor and how did you link up with them? TIA for any advice.

I know people who tutor students in the daytime who aren’t attending school for reasons such as SEN, mental health, medical needs. Maybe look into that :)

What’s your subject? There is always a good market for specialist teaching (ie MFL, languages) for home ed groups. Alternatively if you can offer TEFL there is demand for native English speakers to teach international students remotely.

I tutor some home educated children in the daytime (as well as school attending children after school). I have a Facebook page for my tutoring and the families found me on there.

I know of others who tutor international children online or children who are out of school for mental health or sen reasons face to face. There are agencies eg Targeted Provision for this.

On Facebook there are some really useful and supportive tutoring groups - Twinkl private tutors and Grow your tutoring business into a full-time job.

I am one of those who teaches both TEFL and English to native speakers and I can add that it is a highly relishing endeavour.
